( Construction Notes ) This was my very first sailor senshi fuku and I wanted to do an original design different from any other sailor senshi costume. I was heavily inspired from Naoko's Sailor Cosmos design, hence the reason for the cape, feathers, and abundance of ribbons. I did not know how to use a sewing machine at this time, so my mother made the core of the costume while I finished it off with all the accents, props, and cape. I used a flimsy lycra for the bodice and high quality satin for the skirts, sleeves, and collar. The sword was made of foam core board, silver wrapping paper, silver braided trim, and plastic crystal jewels.
