( Status ) I still own this costume.

( Construction Notes ) I used red velvet for this entire costume. The dress is knee length edged in a tear drop scalloped lace and accented with white braided trip on the bodice and pink flower buttons (not seen). Along with the dress is a short caplet, white satin bloomers, and a felt inlayed half-bonnet covered in more velvet and tied around the neck with wide green ribbon. Black velvet ribbon is used for the ankle bows and a purchased petticoat is worn underneath the dress. My wig base is a long wavy Kelly wig with two added ponytail extensions.
