( Status ) I still own this costume.

( Construction Notes ) This is one of my earlier costumes made entirely by my mother. Over the years though I have altered and replaced pieces to give it a new and fresh look. The dress and jacket are made of light pink casa satin with lavender and yellow crepe trim. The flounce is turquoise satin and the shoulder pieces are constructed from crepe covered foamie and painted Styrofoam balls. The crown is cut from gold glitter metallic adhesive paper adhered to heavy photo paper and carefully attached to a thin wire headband. I wore this costume for my cosplay.com featured cosplayer photo shoot. You can also view a picture of my costume on the English released Utena Movie DVD.
